NCMEC’s mission is to find missing children, reduce child sexual exploitation, and prevent child victimization. During the last 35 years, NCMEC has circulated billions of photos and has assisted law enforcement in the recovery of more than 311,000 children. Additionally, the Child Victim Identification program, which helps to locate and rescue child victims in abusive images, has identified more than 17,900 child victims.
